The 1st College Students Safety Knowledge Competition Held at UIBE

校新闻网讯（保卫处供稿  通讯员 张海荣 王海晶 摄影 党自鹏 孙心奕 胡欣圣）为不断丰富安全宣传教育内涵，积极打造多元化、专业化、体系化的贸大安全文化品牌，12月5日晚上7点，对外经济贸易大学第一届大学生安全知识竞赛暨安全通识教育平台启动仪式，在国际交流大厦二层报告厅隆重举办。

On Dec. 5th, 2019, the University of International Business and Economics(UIBE) held its 1st College Students Safety Knowledge Competition at International Education Building A. This competition aims at raising awareness about campus safety and building a safe and secure educational environment.

本次竞赛由校保卫处主办，学工部、研工部、团委协办，平安贸大志愿者协会承办。我校王强副校长、朝阳区小关街道办事处赵一帆副主任、市委教工委杨硕老师亲临现场观摩指导，市高教保卫学会常务副理事长赵如发、市公安局和安全局的4名警官担任评委嘉宾，北京化工大学、北京中医药大学、北京联合大学、北京服装学院等兄弟院校保卫处的领导以及我校相关职能部门负责人、各学院党委副书记、学生300余人参加了活动。

The competition is sponsored by the Department of Security and co-sponsored by the Student Affairs Department, Graduate Students Affairs Department, Youth League Committee, and Safety Volunteer Association of UIBE. Vice President Wang Qiang, Director of Subdistrict Office of Chaoyang District Zhao Yifan, Committee of Beijing Municipal Education Commission Yang Shuo, Director of Department of Security Liu Jie, Deputy Directors of Department of Security Li Yong and Tu Shuai, Beijing University of Chemical Technology’s Director of Department of Security, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine’s Director of Department of Security, Beijing Union University’s Director of Department of Security, Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology’s Director of Department of Security, head of the relevant functional department of UIBE, faculties and over 300 students attended this competition. The members of the panel of judges are Executive Vice President of the Committee of Security Studies, Beijing Association of Higher Education Zhao Rufa and 4 police officers from Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau.

王强副校长首先致开幕词，他指出，安全文化建设是一项长期的系统工程，将伴随学校教育事业改革发展的全过程、伴随培养社会主义建设者和接班人的全过程，后续我校将以钉钉子的精神不断改进工作，强化校地警协同机制，奋力谋划齐抓共管新局面，聚力谱写平安贸大新篇章。随后，王强副校长与嘉宾代表们共同按下启动球，对外经济贸易大学安全通识教育平台正式启动。

In the opening speech, UIBE Vice President Wang Qiang stated that safety culture construction is a long-term systematic project, which will accompany the whole process of the reform and development of school education, associated with the whole process of training successors for socialism. Subsequently, we will continue improving on the spirit of hard-working, improve the coordinated scheme, start a new chapter of the school safety environment. After the speech, Vice President Mr. Wang and guest representatives jointly pressed the launching ball, and the general security education platform of UIBE was officially started.

安全知识竞赛随后鸣锣开始，本次竞赛通过初赛选拔出12个学院的24名选手，组成统计和信息学院、国关和商学院、中文和法学院、金融和保险学院、英语和外语学院、公管和经贸学院6个联队，竞赛内容涉及国家安全、交通安全、消防安全、人身安全、财物安全和网络安全等多个方面。

After the online preliminary round of the competition, 24 students entered in the offline final round and randomly formed into 6 joint teams. Team 1 was made up of 4 students from School of Statistics and School of Information Technology & Management; Team 2 was made up of 4 students from School of International Relations and Business School; Team 3 was made up of 4 students from School of Chinese Language and Literature and School of Law; Team 4 was made up of 4 students from School of Banking & Finance and School of Insurance and Economics; Team 5 was made up of 4 students from School of International Studies and School of Foreign Studies; Team 6 was made up of 4 students from School of Public Administration and School of International Trade and Economics. The content of the competition covers various aspects, such as national security, traffic safety, fire safety, personal safety, property safety, cyber security, and etc..

本次竞赛共有“旋风三分钟”、“夺命连环抢”、案例题、视频题4个比赛项目，每个项目中间穿插进行观众抽奖。竞赛过程中，场上选手群情激昂、奋勇争先，场下观众互动频繁、反响热烈，整个比赛历时将近一个半小时。

This competition has 4 types of questions which are Race in Turn, Quiz Chaser, Case Analysis, and Video Analysis. During the competition, audiences could participate lucky draw in between each type of competition. All the teams on the field were passionate and eagerly competing for the first place, while the audiences interacted frequently and responded well. The whole competition lasted nearly one and a half hours.

比赛项目结束后，评委老师们对选手表现进行了点评，同时对竞赛形式给予高度评价，对竞赛的效果作出极高的肯定。

After the competition, judges commented on the performance of the contestants, also gave high comments on the competition form and affirmed the effect of the competition.

最终，金融和保险学院联队凭借优异表现勇夺一等奖，国关和商学院、英语和外语学院2个联队以微弱的差距屈居二、三等奖，中文和法学院、公管和经贸学院、统计和信息学院3个联队获得优秀奖，我校第一届大学生安全知识竞赛取得圆满成功。

In the end, Team 4 won first place, Team 2 won second place and Team 5 won third place. Team 1, Team 3, and Team 6 won excellent awards. The First College Safety Knowledge Competition has been completed successfully.

本次安全知识竞赛寓教于乐，以创新性的宣传途径传播安全知识，提高了贸大师生对各项安全知识的重视程度，巩固和提升了我校安全教育的整体成效，形成了线上线下相融合、校内校外相互动、理论实践相促进的安全宣教格局，有利于我校立德树人工作和平安校园建设的向快向好发展。

The safety knowledge competition, with the initiative of promoting safety knowledge, re-emphasis on the importance of safety knowledge, consolidated and improved the overall effectiveness of safety education. The safety knowledge competition established a new form of safety education, which integrated online platforms, off-campus supports, and real-world practices. It is beneficial to the safety development of UIBE.
